SYNOPSIS

In a foster home run by kids, Lucia, a seven-year-old misfit, awaits her adoption with her most precious possession; a toad. Jealous of her impending pick-up, the boys set out to make her last day a nightmare, by stealing it. Despite the war that ensues, the realization that the pick-up will most-likely never happen, bands the kids together, and Lucia realizes she might already be home.
