Meet Ângelo Arribas, 83 years old and lively as a brook. Hailing from Freixiosa, in Portugal's far north-eastern corner of Trás-os-Montes, he has led a simple and full life. He makes flutes and bagpipes, enjoys going out hunting, misses long-departed friends, and wishes for a world without wars.
