SYNOPSIS

Raban is leaving the city for a dreaded visit to his fiancée in the village. On his way to the train, he meets a misleading acquaintance who confuses his direction. Fear and awe mark each step in his journey. Based on the unfinished short story "Wedding Preparations in the Country", by Franz Kafka.
