SYNOPSIS

At fourteen, Ryan is the breadwinner in an extended family of children whose parents left to attempt to reach Europe overland. Unable to make a living solely by fishing, Ryan is also the head of a small gang of child thieves. As he struggles with the responsibility of feeding and protecting his younger siblings, we witness Ryan's exile from the magical world of his childhood.
