SYNOPSIS
In this one-minute documentary, the film-maker takes a step aside from his ongoing animation work to tell a family story. In 1940, Truus lives in Rotterdam with her mother Aartje. In 2019, her grandson Arjan wonders what the first sunny days of May 1940 felt like for them. He reconstructs the events and concludes that he can add a little something to them.
