SYNOPSIS

"Father", my great grandfather (1899–1990) was a merchant in Guérande, France. Some years ago, I discovered that he also ran the town's cinema, "Le Balzac", and that he made amateur movies in the aftermath of the Second World War. I did not know Father, but he kept great archives which can tell his story.
