SYNOPSIS

In the 1900s. Disillusioned provincial schoolmaster Platonov tried to turn back the past - he starts an affair with his first love Sonya. Now they are both married to other people. Does their relationship have any future? Platonov doesn't think so, but Sonya does. Based on the play "Platonov" by A. P. Chekhov.
