Today, large sections of the surrounding industry have been abandoned and have become a magnet for people living on the margins. Beer cans, trays of chips and other detritus drift in the changing winds in Chris Penty’s CANAL, exploring the notions of degradation, creativity and depression, against a decaying backdrop.
