SYNOPSIS

OUT OF PLACE is a dual narrative exploring both the disconnection and connection between two immigrant lives. A young Chinese aspiring pianist and a handsome Mexican house painter, unaware that they're neighbors, concomitantly go through a day of disillusion. Their stories, to their core, are a means of examining the universal longing for belonging, and the unfortunate reality of feeling still, out of place.
