SYNOPSIS
During the Second World War, Marcel, a French farmer, hopes to see life return to his mother Josépha's eyes. She has been living in a vegetative state since the disappearance of her elder son. Meanwhile, he begins to help people affected by the war without realizing how much trouble he is getting into.
