SYNOPSIS

At the meeting point of animal welfare concerns and spiritual life, ritual slaughter with or without prior stunning has been a polarizing topic of popular debate. Members of the youth center "Le 88" discuss different points of view with Jewish and Muslim theologians and with GAIA, an organisation which fights for animal welfare. The film aims at defusing tensions in this tricky conversation.
