SYNOPSIS

When World War II broke out in 1937, Chinese Air Force pilot Yan Yaohua parachuted into enemy lines. The Japanese ordered the capture of the Chinese pilot alive to wash away the shame of the air war at Jianqiao. During his flight Yan Yaohua rescues Cui Yi, a Chinese child he had never met before. After Yan Yaohua is cornered he does his utmost to save the child.
