SYNOPSIS

BETTER explores the complex relationship between young mum Jamie and her son Max. Max shows early signs of questioning his gender identity, which results in extensive bullying. Jamie is introduced to a new private medical procedure which claims to 'fix' personalities and therefore can heteronormalize Max. Jamie has an almost impossible decision to make. Should she 'fix' her son to protect him?
