SYNOPSIS

Meryem, a conservative, religious woman living in a slum of Istanbul, plans to wed his only son Duran, who has just arrived from a hidden and dark past. As a woman, in a close society, her only power is to put things in "order". However, in her modest house and life, there are dark things which need to be faced, whether she likes it or not. What choices does she have between faith, motherhood and her conscience?
