SYNOPSIS
The Paiwan people have a rich tradition of tattooing, which was tightly linked to cultural identity and social status, until it was wiped out during WWII. This gives Cudjuy Patjidres, the only traditional Paiwan tattoo artist, the motivation to bring about the rebirth of the tattoo tradition.
