SYNOPSIS

24 Hours of Le Mans, 1955. The race was grandiose. 300,000 spectators. Mercedes' "Silver Arrows" were the betting favorites. It was 6pm when Pierre Levegh's car exploded in the grandstand. The tragedy cost over 80 lives and has gone on to be the worst accident in motorsport history.
