SYNOPSIS

This is the portrait of eighteen-year-old Espoir, who lives in Lomé. With my camera in hand, I follow him wherever he wants to take me through this elusive city. Espoir winds his way among friends, girlfriends and parties, putting himself to the test as he searches for desire and meaning.
