SYNOPSIS

When a black 13-year-old starts speaking only in Shakespearean verse, her mother is outraged. It takes a therapist with an equally encyclopedic knowledge of the bard to engage Ivy in a Shakespeare quote-off on the stage of the national theatre and uncover the reasons for Ivy’s obsession.
