SYNOPSIS

Buon Ma Thuot, the Vietnam central highlands, dry season. Tran Xuan Ve, a veteran, and his wife harvest the calabash fruits from their verdurous garden. Lurking somewhere in his mind are distant memories of the killing scenes under the Khmer Rouge that he has witnessed.
