SYNOPSIS

Sometime near the end of the Middle Ages, a monastic scribe named Antoine hears of an invention in a far-off town... a machine that makes books. Baffled, he leaves his monastery to see for himself. But with each new encounter, a world opens up beneath his feet, and his journey leads him onward.
