SYNOPSIS
65-year-old Walya lives in a decaying village in the depths of the Russian provinces. Her life consists of work and care of her often drunken son Patka and teenage grandson Dimka. As Grisha, a friend from her youth, appears in the village, Walya allows herself a trip out of her daily routine.
