SYNOPSIS

This film follows Ion Maxsimovic, Yakutsk, Siberia’s most successful wolf hunter. As Ion goes about his work we learn what it takes to survive in some of the coldest conditions on earth, and that the social and environmental changes surrounding the wolves he hunts run deep into the Russian psyche.
