SYNOPSIS
After the outbreak of the Vietnam War, thousands of Vietnamese fled to Hong Kong in the 70s and 80s. Hong Kong became the largest refuge for Vietnamese people. Hong Kong’s last refugee camp closed in 2000, yet over 700 refugees stayed in the city. Many of them chose to sleep rough.
