SYNOPSIS
In 1987 I shot a video, titled Birta Myrkur, in a small blue lagoon near Reykjavik. Icelanders call the light that appears just before sunrise Birta, and Myrkur when it is just after sunset. For a long time I wanted to return to this place and see if this namesake light really existed.
