SYNOPSIS

Virginie is having dinner with her son and her husband, neither of them speaking much even though it is her birthday. As Virginie is about to blow out the sole candle on her birthday cake, her roommate Charlotte walks in. We then find out that Virginie, a transsexual in her forties, has been alone since the beginning.
