SYNOPSIS

Daniel, a thin, pale 8-year-old, is waiting, perched on the corner of a wooden bench in the mortuary entrance hall. Slightly bored, he sighs as he watches people passing to and fro, most dressed in mourning, in small groups or walking slowly, whispering. There he meets Carmen.
