VERY GOOD DIRT explores the empty spaces of the once thriving town of McConnell, Manitoba and contrasts them with the life of the farmer who now owns and works the land. The resulting film is a poetic meditation on the meaning of place, all set in the great emptiness of the Canadian prairie.
