SYNOPSIS

When 8-year-old Tom accidentally kills a bird with an air rifle, he enters a state of shock. Driven by guilt and shame, he secretly buries the dead bird in his garden at home. After a sleepless night, with the maddening morning birdsong in his ears, he makes a tough decision.
