SYNOPSIS
The film follows the path of Ranavalona III, the last queen of Madagascar, who got caught up in the vice of french colonialism and imperialism. She was sent into exile in 1897, she went to Réunion Island, then to Algeria where she died in 1917. She never got the chance to see her homeland again.
