SYNOPSIS
A film made using archival footage of Cinecittà and family albums from Iran. They tell the story of Iranian women. They have been veiled and unveiled, before and after the abolition of the veil in 1936 and same again with the mandatory reinstitution of the veil in 1979 by the revolutionary constitution. Women in Iran have to assume a double identity.
