SYNOPSIS

A post-colonial journey, through Charles Darwin’s visit to the Bay of Islands, New Zealand, in 1835. This contemporary adaptation quotes his journal "The Voyage of the Beagle" . Darwin’s travel writing becomes a vehicle of communication for present day tourism, travel romance, and to understand racism, against the backdrop of New Zealand’s lush native landscape.
