The personal and collective amnesia that occurred during political changes and the early 90's war in Croatia. The author’s 97-year-old grandmother remembers her youth as a teacher during the World War II anti-fascist movement, looking at a book "The School in War and Revolution", written by her late husband. Several intellectuals speak about the removal of this book but also of many others, as they were labelled as inappropriate or communist by the new Croatian government.
