SYNOPSIS

Farmer Ka-san, who has been a widow for many years, feels compelled to have her only son, Kenji, marry. Kenji refuses stubbornly: he is happy to keep things the way they are. On the day they go and visit Father’s grave, Ka-san broaches the subject again and during their journey, Kenji begins to understand his mother’s hopes and fears.
