SYNOPSIS

'AN ACHE FOR HOME' is a purposefully clumsy translation of the Greek roots of the word “nostalgia”. Super 8 images of food packaging are projected onto a hand covered in thick paint as exhortations to remember evocative events are made in a disembodied synthesised voice. A small-scale investigation of how and what we remember.
