SYNOPSIS

Kyrkogårdsö, a small island in the middle of the Baltic Sea. This island of eight inhabitants has belonged to the Nordberg family for 16 generations. Every morning, the little Ida Nordberg, five years old, is crossing the icy sea to go to school. The film studies the child's relation to the powerful immensity of the landscape.
