SYNOPSIS

After the death of her mother, Anne breaks into her grandmother Augusta's house, a woman she never knew anything about. With each discovery, she feeds the fiction in her head about Augusta's life - the writer, the member of the Algerian National Liberation Front, her secret lover, her hidden child, her Algeria. The puzzle that is the house becomes a mental domain traversed by the images of that nameless war.
