Closed and abandoned by the government in 2001, La Hortua was a hospital that today shelters former workers and their families. As a form of protest to its closing, those affected moved in there. Buildings of what once was the most important hospital in Colombia are now crumbling while their inhabitants wander through the solitude, silence, and dusty memories preserved in this space.
