SYNOPSIS

A donkey is taken on weekly visits to old people in nursing homes in England. The donkey is welcomed with open arms, with songs, gentle strokes, childhood stories, poems, and laughter. But with Norbert, a man who has lost his ability to speak, an altogether different encounter takes place.
