SYNOPSIS

Follow a dangerous climb in the Austrian Alps and admire nature’s harsh beauty. At the heart of the eastern Alps, in the Niedere Tauern massif that rises in the Austrian state of Salzburg, soldiers undertake the tortuous ascent of the Radstädter Tauern, a high mountainous pass situated at an altitude of 1738 metres. Facing the ice and the steep slopes, the courageous roped party of climbers finally reach the John waterfall. In this expedition film, the movie camera firmly shows human pugnacity in a big way and reveals a majestic landscape.
