SYNOPSIS

An abandoned copper mine in Alentejo, Portugal, which belonged to a British company for over a century is evoked through old mine workers' testimonials and confessions and a recited poem, against audiovisual portraits of the abandoned buildings, acid water lagoons, and surrealistic natural landscapes.
