SYNOPSIS

Through his vivid folk art paintings that mesh an idealised Mogadishu with Sydney landscapes, Ahmed Hagi processes his displacement from his homeland Somalia, and alludes to his personal story of surviving political upheavals, migration, racism and becoming HIV positive.
