Considered as targets by society and forgotten by political forces, the Italian members of the Sinti community have found a powerful means of galvanizing their identity: thousands of them are converting to Evangelical Pentecostalism. This religion is experienced in such a deep and absorbing way that their lifestyle is utterly changed.
