Thomas Steiner has had plenty of experience with the filmic 'development' of real and artificial landscapes. In CAMPING CÉZANNE, Steiner is once again at the interface between nature and art where he explores their mutual relativity over three sections/chapters. The landscape of Montagne St. Victoire gradually reveals itself over the three parts – stroke by stroke, as if watching a drawing in progress.
