An unfriendly couple, Françoise and Jean-Paul are out to buy a wedding gift for their niece. Unpleasant and awkward, Françoise drops the vase she was planning on buying. She reluctantly accepts to pay for it, but imagines a ruse : the day of the wedding, she's going to pretend to trip...
