SYNOPSIS

Camoes, the most famous Portuguese poet, is growing old. He suffers from syphilis and is almost unable to move. Tormented by debts, a talkative mother and the memories from his dissolute past, he puts up with his situation in silent resignation. But at night, a supernatural voice talks to him...
