SYNOPSIS
1934: Two decisive movies are shot in Provence practically one after the other: "Angèle", which makes the young Pagnol a star author of French cinema ; "Toni", that Pagnol invites Renoir to film in Martigues, and which can be considered as the French neo-realist film.
