SYNOPSIS

In 1958, in the French countryside, a farmer who is a father of seven puts his second son in a local foster home for boys. Michel suddenly experiences moral and physical pain, love and food deprivation. Moreover, some teachers and supervisors are just back from the War in Algeria, which creates a mood of insecurity.
