SYNOPSIS

Fabrice, a young record dealer, is filled with admiration for a jazz musician who lives across the landing. He's going to fall in love with Anita, Jimmy's girlfriend, because "one always gets impassioned for the one who was chosen by the person he or she loves" (Durell).
