SYNOPSIS

The adventures of a book - or rather of its successive owners - shown on nine screens simultaneously. The objective of the film is to show a trivial episode in different ways and from different points of view. The hero of the film goes into a book-shop to buy a new book; at the same time, this action is registered in nine places. This picture is registered in the chess-board of a picture-sheet, which is divided into nine fields; it shows the complicated correlations of very small events, which are simple and taken from every-day life.
