BIOGRAPHIE

Sarower Reza Jimi is a screenplay writer and a first-time filmmaker. He regularly writes Natok, a popular and unique form of fiction, for Bangladeshi television. In 2017, he received the Critic's Choice Best Screenplay Award for Television in Bangladesh. His academic background includes a master’s degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka and then, a Kinoeyes European Movie Masters (KEM) with a scholarship from the European Commission. "CLEARANCE SALE" is his first directed short, made with the support of KEM and Baltic School of Film and Media (BFM) as an out of the program project. At present, Jimi is working on the preproduction of his second short and the script of his first feature. Jimi likes to sleep as he gets stories in dreams.
